Nitro District
★★★★☆ 4.1
Nitro District leans all the way into arcade handling — no simulation here, just drift, boost, and chase. The tracks loop through neon cities, and the sense of speed is strong even on a smaller screen.
I played with tilt steering and then switched to touch arrows, and honestly both work. Tilt felt better once I trusted it. The boost system ties into drifting, so the loop of corner-drift-boost gives it a satisfying rhythm.
It does run the phone warm after a few races, and the car unlocks are slower than I'd like. Still, for a quick adrenaline hit between things, it delivers.
What we liked
- Satisfying drift-and-boost loop
- Tilt and touch both viable
- Strong sense of speed
