Casinacho Games
Casinacho Games is one of those apps that hands you a dozen little games wrapped in a colorful hub, and I expected to bounce off it fast. Instead I kept tapping "one more round" on the tram for most of a week. The mini-games are short, the pacing is quick, and nothing overstays its welcome.
Controls are entirely one-handed, which is the whole point. Most modes are tap, swipe, or a quick drag, and the hit targets are generous enough that I wasn't fighting the screen. Each mini-game has its own little rhythm, and the hub ties them together with a map you unlock as you go, which gives the whole thing a nice sense of progress.
Battery-wise it's gentle — the art is flat and bright rather than heavy 3D, so my old phone barely warmed up. If I had one complaint it's that a couple of the modes repeat a bit too soon, but for a pick-up-and-put-down game that lives in your pocket, it does exactly what it sets out to do.

- Truly one-handed controls
- Light on battery and storage
